I am grateful that my parents diligently recorded our childhood in many ways.

Dad’s original movies were converted to VHS, with audio added by the video service. I later had the series digitized for DVD. Here are three brief montages from my babyhood, which include vacations, family and general fun.

Below are three snippets from the movies. The full home movie library may be viewed here.

Below are recordings my mother made annually, using a Wollensak reel-to-reel tape recorder.

They begin with my babyhood, and end when I turned sixteen. I converted the recordings into movies, adding photos.

Dad was a brilliant storyteller. Yesteryear came to life in his animated narratives.

Here is a video compilation of cherished, hilarious family stories, filmed in the  mid-1990s. The first chapters were taken at Aunt Maryann’s house, and the others at Aunt Marietta’s and then our townhouse.

Our wedding

This was the happiest day of my life, and it still seems like yesterday. Included are snapshots of John and me as we grew up and started dating, the church ceremony, receiving line, the reception, and snapshots from our honeymoon cruise.

Our Honeymoon Cruise

We had a ball sailing down and back through the Mexican Riviera, and made some good friends.

Terminal Velocity 2006

A little birthday present to myself. I’d always wanted to do this, and probably will again. A lifelong lover of flying (I took flight lessons in 1997), this was another drop in the bucket list.
